Kotobukiya & Enterbay 1/6 Elvis Presley '68 Comeback Special Figure Preview

Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name Elvis. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".
Kotobukiya & Enterbay released a 1/6 scale Elvis Presley '68 Comeback Special 12-inch Figure to mark the 35th Anniversary of the King's death in 2012.
In 1968, Elvis maneuvered a deal with NBC that committed the network to both finance a theatrical feature and broadcast a Christmas special.
Recorded in late June, the special, called simply "Elvis", aired on December 3, 1968. Later known as the '68 Comeback Special, the show featured lavishly staged studio productions as well as songs performed with a band in front of a small audience—Presley's first live performances since 1961.
The live segments saw Presley clad in tight black leather, singing and playing guitar in an uninhibited style reminiscent of his early rock and roll days. The show, NBC's highest rated that season, captured 42 percent of the total viewing audience.
